This 3.5 or 5 inch gauge model represents a World War I armoured Simplex loco,
designed for light trench railway service.
The CAD shows a fully enclosed armoured body with curved side fairings, a raised central cab roof section,
and twin opening side engine bay doors that reveal the MY1016Z3 24 V 250350 W motor mounting arrangement.
The chassis and body geometry follow the characteristic Simplex silhouette, with engine access from both
sides and a recessed buffer/coupler at the rear. The body appears to be proportioned for practical driving
access while maintaining historical accuracy, and includes generous internal space for drivetrain
components, wiring, and battery installation. Overall, the design blends historical external detail with
modern mechanical functionality for reliable miniature railway operation.
Important Notes
No wheels, axles, bearings, or drive components are included
Designed for use on slow-speed tracks
