Build Your Own 3.5 or 5 inch Gauge Truck � Frame & Body Plans + STL Files
This digital download provides everything you need to create a versatile truck for 3.5 or 5
inch gauge track (gauge selectable during assembly). The design has been created to
complement the 3.5 or 5 inch Gauge Diesel Outline Locomotive and is suitable for both
beginners and experienced builders.
The truck is primarily intended as a rolling or passenger truck, but with care and balance it
may also be used as a small driving truck on floor-level, slow-running tracks.

STL files for 3D printing of selected components
Full chassis, buffer beams, and simple body design
Adjustable seat design (forward/backward adjustment, secured with M12 studding and
nuts)

Compatible with laser-cutting and outsourced fabrication services
Requires 6001-2RS Deep Groove Ball Bearings (ID 12mm x OD 28mm x Width 8mm) for
axles
Some welding required for final assembly of the chassis

This is not a complete kit wheels and axles are not included and must be sourced
separately.
Plans cover only the frame, buffer beams, and body shell.
Designed for light use on small, slow-speed tracks.
